Think rice crispy treat, but richer. I’ve reworked the original a bit, replacing the corn syrup with brown rice syrup, sugar for coconut sugar (though it works). They’re not healthy, per se, but are a little more nutritious than the original.
If you can’t find butterscotch chips, skip 'em! I also like using all chocolate instead but the butterscotch is more aligned with the original version.
