Week 98

Hi friends. Thank you so much for the feedback on Instagram yesterday. I am so sick of my house and my kitchen and feeding these people and I am happy to hear we're in a similar boat ;) I saw repeat requests for easy, less ingredients (due to grocery trips being less frequent), vegetables/kid-friendly meals, snacks, grilling, more salads, roll-over ingredients and quick. This is week is not necessarily those things, but I also get requests for something different and we have more of that this week.

The wraps were so good! Crispy like a taquito but filled with olives and greens and a great time to make a sauce from the bundle. The skewers are a member favorite (and actually pretty easy). If you're doing more grilling this summer, now may be a good time to get some metal skewers. The noodle jars are a bit of work up front with the spice paste and chopping, but for those of you who prep at other times of the day so dinner comes together quickly, these may be for you. I know many of you don't want to turn on the oven but this is the easiest way to make tofu! And cake! Always cake. This one was with gorgeous plums from my CSA box but I also have peaches and apricots that would be welcome here. Pick up some almond extract, it's a game changer for stone fruit treats.

We're doing it. This is hard and there are so. many. dishes but you're doing good work. Take nights off when you need it. Keep frozen pizza and simple greens stocked. xo
