Week 102

Hi hi! We're a little all over the place this week trying to respond to some of your requests (which I love!). I know many of you are camping as a means to travel this summer, so I made notes on a meal that has worked for us. I prep most of the components in advance, so I can just warm them over the fire and do a quick saute of the veggies on site. It does require more dishes than I usually use, but I made notes for shortcuts if you don't want to make beans from scratch and what not. Don't skip the sauce. Camping needs sauce. Someone else requested a summer soup, so we're making a light corn chowder and then an easy orzo salad that uses a prepared olive tapenade and a grip of grilled zucchini. And last but not least! How darling are those ice cream sams?!? These are the dye-free sprinkles we buy in bulk. Any parents need help getting your kids to eat? Sprinkles are a novelty and work even on broccoli should you need such a silly tip. I'll post a video of how we got the sams all the same exact size over on instagram.

Don't hesitate with questions! I know the weather is warm and we're trying to spend less time with the oven on so I'll do my best to focus stove-top and grill these next few weeks if I can help it.

Thanks for being here!
