Week 109

Hey friends! I'm up cooking for a small group of women at a wellness retreat in Malibu, CA. Amongst many dishes, I am making a few of our favorite sauces here, marinating the chicken in the Peruvian marinade you all loved from last week, making trays of the homemade granola we have in the archives and the Peanut Butter Crispy Balls so everyone can have a decadent little treat as needed. We have so many recipes here that hit the spot for both healthy and delicious, and I am excited to share with these ladies.

Earlier this week I had some dreamy newborn snuggles and stocked my sister's fridge with meals that reheat easily as they settle into their new life as parents. Check the Bundles tab on the Recipes page for lists of SKCC favorites if you need ideas to freeze or deliver for yourself or friends.

This week, we're making a few make-ahead meals/lunches, as those seem to be popular. If that is not a need of yours, don't forget that you can edit your menu and add any of your past favorites to your weekly plan and grocery list to bulk it up! It will repopulate as needed and is an easy way to revisit favorites.

I am planning on doing another Zoom class, A Salad Story on Sunday, October 4th, 4PM PST. We'll go over how to balance flavor and texture, and work with the season (particularly the one we're in). When to use which kinds of lettuces and how to whip up a quick crouton. We will make the ever popular Winter Salad from here and make a grain salad as well. Only 10 spots for members only!
