Week 123

Happy New Year! Perhaps this is your first week or you've been here since Week 1, but we have a huge archive at this point. This week includes a handful of our most favorited recipes. It makes a case for the tried and true, cornerstone recipes. Dinners that are low fuss, less dishes, and family-friendly were most popular. I know that is not always the case with every recipe published here, but we do our best to offer variety, and with that, a few extra steps are sometimes included. I could eat this Taco Salad every single day and the Cauli Tikka is Hugh's favorite.

This year was wild, so much energy, especially towards eating at home, and I was grateful to find you all in this space. Dinner burnout that happens in normal times, was blazing this year, and I want to pass along my pat on the back to all of you who pushed through, served frozen pizzas when you needed, and made a cocktail at 3pm... maybe 2pm. Feeding a family is SO MUCH WORK! If you haven't been thanked lately, I hope the virtual community of home cooks here can remind you that you are in good company. You are amazing!
