Week 130

Hey my dears. I have been thinking of Texas all week, and for those of you there, experiencing the extreme weather, what a week. I am so sorry and hope you are safe. We have made donations to Austin Mutual Aid and Houston Mutual Aid and because your memberships pay my salary, I consider you part of what I/we can do to help from afar.

This week, while not clearly "roll over" ingredients, you may notice that many of the components do in fact overlap. For the legacy of these recipes, we are trying to write them so they can stand alone in the archives if a member refers to them later. That said, if you make the roasted chicken, you will likely have leftover chicken to add to the build-a-bowl. If you are vegetarian, and don't do the whole chicken, the bowls can still stand as their own meal without the meat. They may look like a lot of words at first glance, but know the writing is verbose on purpose, as a tool to teach, and make YOU more confident in the kitchen. Fist bump.

The cookie dough bites. Good grief. Don't skip those! Unless you don't eat nuts, in which case, make something different! Like these, and replace the almond meal with flour or oat flour. Yum.
