Week 135

Happy Friday friends! You'll notice some cool and warm weather foods in the next few weeks - warm casseroles and soups, and also a few salads and a pineapple marg like we're ready to sit by a warm pool somewhere. There is still snow on the ground, I know, but I assume you're ready for a change of seasons too? Maybe our beverages will usher us in. My kids prefer this white chili to the red version, and it's great to make ahead. The skillet reigns from Smitten Kitchen, and one of you recommended it as a go-to one pan dish. We're also making a roasted garlic spread, that levels up these veggie sandwiches. Find good bread, that would be my top suggestion. It makes a difference! I added the macaroons on for our friends celebrating Passover, but even if you are not, they are tender and delicious.

It's felt like a busy week, and I am looking forward to some rest this weekend. Rest is often times long walks or a new book or listening to a podcast with the kids while I stretch on the floor and they both build legos. Maybe for you it's extra sleep or dates with friends or cooking something new.Whatever it looks like for you, hope you find corners of it. Thanks for being here!
