Week 159

Thank you for sending me your recipe requests on instagram a few days ago! I love hearing what you all are interested in. LOTS of answers for soups, lunchbox things (not my area of expertise but I'll work on it), veggie mains that aren't salads and healthy treats amongst other things. It sounds like everyone is ready for cooler weather and fall things. It's been the warmest week of summer yet, so I can't get my mind and kitchen tastes towards autumn yet. This weekend, Curran has his first soccer game, I'm teaching a private cooking class, the boys are going on a fishing day trip and I am hoping the mood strikes me to do some planting in the backyard. Unlikely, I don't care for gardening, but throwing the intentions into the universe. What are you up to?

I hope you find things on this menu to fit into your week. Make the granola ahead so you have that ready. The taquitos are best fresh, but we eaten when put in a lunchbox. The salmon bowls was a favorite, I ate that salad a few times, and the beans were super easy - a simple vegetarian meal for you (even feels a little fall-ish! look at that).
