Week 168

It's Friday! You made it. How was the week? I got completely toasted. Hugh has been gone all week and I can already feel the weight of this time of year. Soccer season is closing out and the kids have lots going on at school and menus here are fuller for holidays and playdates and party plans anddddd just life. It's so much. We go to Austin tomorrow (kidless!) to celebrate our 11th anniversary and I cannot wait. It's the quickest 48-hours and we have a huge list of places to eat and a darling hotel and I can't wait. Hugh and I both love to eat and walk and coffee and read and find a fun bar with music so we'll make the most of two days there. Wish it was longer.

This week, we have some very quick tacos that you can level up by making these super simple tortillas (see video coming up on Instgram for a visual). There is a braised chicken dish from the new Ottolenghi Test Kitchen book and an enchilada bake to assemble in advance so you can get ahead on a night you need something ready. Lastly, we're making a savory snack mix too that the whole family will love.

The Thanksgiving menu will be up next Friday, can't believe that is already here! I'll do a trouble shooting day that day on Instagram and FB as well so we can chat menu needs and get you all set!
