Week 175

It's Friday! I cooked a lot this week (is this new news? no) and we have some delicious things coming up. My favorite was this gingery sweet potato stew with coconut milk. We are also brainstorming the Valentines menu and are tinkering between shrimp scampi or another seared fish and a delicious caesar salad and a chocolatey something dessert. If you have requests on sexy food, submit it sooner than later!

One of my goals for this year was to plan a SKCC meet up or retreat sort of deal where we could cook and hike and chat but I'll save my poll in regards to where until it's a bit more pandemically appropriate. Crossing fingers it can happen!

I hope you are healthy and well. We are eating lots of oranges, drinking less wine (we won't call it dry January exactly, but "drier" than normal) and I dusted off the juicer. Not in the name of diet new years anything, just to be sure we're all consuming as much produce possible. One of the best things we can do for our health is to cook at home and eat well and you're doing that! Cheers to you.
