Week 183

Hey hey!

What a week. I have found myself glued to instagram only because I find the reporting on Russia/Ukraine most informative from @sharonsaysso. We have made donations to World Central Kitchen - the charity of chef Jose Andres who has followed areas of crisis throughout the past few years, and served warm meals to people in terrible situations (weather, war, all of it). It's a top rated charity and as food people, I know you too, deeply understand the significance of being cared for with a warm meal. I hope this next week introduces you to small moments that you can extend your kindness and generosity. You are such good people.

This week, we are revisiting those meatballs that you all reminded me when we chatted about favorited recipes here! There is also a simple pasta, as it has been requested to have more "under 30 minutes" recipes up in here. There is also a Barbacoa Taco that while not 30 minutes, is a quick prep time and then it slow cooks, hands off, for hours! We're also making a cocktail for the bourbon/whiskey drinkers around here, inspired by our new favorite bar and date spot.

Thank you for being here and supporting our small business. We'll catch up with a cook a long on 3/20! I am trying to do one once a month, so we'll shoot for that day, and do something kid-friendly, as I know a lot of them were crawling around last time we did this :)

Chat soon and take good care!
