Week 206

Coming off a bit of a funky week. We had all sorts of camps and summer school and trips this summer and it was busy but also necessary, so I could squeeze work in between the momming and life things. I took this last week off-ish so we could chill and have it be easy but the kids had colds and were constantly bickering and I didn't cook much besides a dirty party Monday and salmon three times because Costco and it was just so hot here only fruit sounded good a lot of the time. Do I sound ready for school next week?!?! We didn't squeeze everything in, but I think we're all ready for our routine again. September is my favorite month and we are ready for a little shift here.

There are no lunchbox ideas this week, because I can make dinner for anyone but kids' lunches are tricky. I can help with dinner though! I love love these Hawaiian meatball bowls - warm, sweet pineapple is so delicious. We are revisiting that delicious summer cantaloupe salad while it is still delicious and making these unique crepes from a new to me cookbook, which turned out to be a refreshing take on our weekly tacos. Lastly, this dairy-free fudge that was meant for ice cream sundaes got snacked on almost like a pudding and I think it could actually qualify as either. So there's that.

Best to you this weekend - whether summer continues or you're getting ready for school or nothing changes. All good things. Thank you for being here!
