Week 212

Heyo friends! I am happy you are here. I was texting with my friend last night about staying motivated to cook and it's a long game isn't it? I love food and cooking but I definitely don't have the pep for it every.single.meal. We had frozen pizzas (the Kirkland cauli crust one at Costco is actually quite good) and Caesar Slaw (where in which I brilliantly dress a bag of cruciferous crunch from Trader Joes with Caesar dressing and a splash of cider vinegar). Can't be on it all the time. I try to balance the weekly menus with some items that are quick and others that may take a few more steps, as well as some vegetarian things and not and a kid friendly item and a good lunch or make ahead sort of dish. Just rotating through those. I know there are all sorts of home cooks out there, and circumstances look different. I hope you can find things that work, and that you will please send me requests! I truly love your feedback and it helps me plan! You can respond to your weekly reminder email and it will go directly to me :)

Anyway. The weather is cooling down (sort of, at least in the mornings and evenings) here so we are trying our hands at our first meatloaf here. Actually the first time I've ever made one so let me know what you think. The salad can take on your additions if needed and the dressing is great. I love that ramen slaw and will definitely be making another bowl full this weekend. And Curran's dirty little fingers on that PBJ smoothie pic! I love my babies so much and this has been our afternoon snack as of late. I hope you find something that works for you this week!

Take good care. xo
