A long weekend! Mine will consist of distracted working on the school holidays whilst trying to entertain children part of the day, and doing a deep backyard clean up after the mess that drainage work created. I did not know brick dust was so pervasive so I will go crazy with a power washer this weekend. The envy! I know. It is so cold and crisp here, but I feel hopeful for spring around the corner, and working on the backyard really doesn't sound so bad. To sustain you, there is soup and another great sauce and some bowl-food and our beloved banana bars. Every time I buy bananas at Costco I have a good grip of dying ones we couldn't keep up with so there will be smoothies, and these bars and some banana pancakes in our near future.
