Happy Fathers Day weekend to those who celebrate! Herein lies a menu for both a family get together this weekend, or dinners this week. The potatoes really are delicious - sure, it's a scramble into a gutted baked potato but it's a beautiful little breakfast boat. We're also going to simmer some brisket, which I know you all don't love to do in the summer, but I think you could move the situation outside by simply using your grill as an oven. Alternatively, a slow cooker gives off less heat and this would work there too! And some greens with my new favoirte dressing! My friend Katie told me about the bones of it after she had it at a restaurant and while I wasn't the person who tried it per se, I love the combo and it goes with everything. Lastly, the Key Lime Pie, for my Dad. It's classic and perfectly summer and I'll leave it here in his honor - though he will never see this or make it :)
