Week 269

Happy Halloween weekend! We are the starter house for some trick or treating and I am making two soups, some cornbread and a shreddy kale and cabbage salad. It's tradition and chaos and we plan to squeeze in some pumpkin decorating this Sunday so I have something festive out front. On the menu this week, we have a ramen soup that will be perfect for those who aren't feeling great. If you can pick up some bone broth, it makes the broth even richer and filling. There is this broccoli pizza, inspired by Smitten Kitchen, that my kids questioned and ended up loving (chop that broccoli super small!). Lastly, we have a sheetpan meal with a great sauce and some granola bars, should you need a snacky item around. They are a little crumbly for lunch boxes but great for home.
