Happy Friday! Me again ;) Our Halloween skeleton and spider decor is still on the porch. I honestly probably wouldn't have noticed, and just put it in a box once we got the Christmas lights out, but my family is questioning my timeline. I know some of you have snow already! But this shoulder season in California has me in shorts and a tshirt during the day, but needing my puffer once the sun starts to fade. We have friends coming for dinner tomorrow and I am considering if it's just too cold to sit in the backyard, or if I can send a text asking them to bundle up. I'm an al fresco sort of entertainer, so I'll probably go for the later until I see teeth chattering. I hope you're up to something fun. You have this handful of recipes should you want to make something new! A very easy gin cocktail (appropriately served in a coup glass, but I like things over large ice cubes), a stew that stretches for days, and a pineapple meatball bowl that could be a family favorite for you. My favorite is the salad this week. I get the crunchy greens really small, so you can eat this salad with a spoon and add any proteins or goodies you'd like. The dressing is delicious, I'd suggest doubling that. The Thanksgiving menu will be out next Friday! Can't believe we're there. Wow.
