Week 276

It’s a vegetable week! With a delicious cookie to boot because fa la la. Our local farm has this gorgeous bin of unique mushrooms and I have been so interested in using them. We have a delicious mushroom pasta here, and I love them in tacos, but I’m looking for more ideas. If you’re a mushroom person, send me your suggestions! For now, we’re spicing them up and stuffing them in a pita! We also have these potstickers that my kids like making (easy to add ground pork if you want meat), and these tofu bowls that are so light and filling. I find lemongrass at Ralphs - try to find it at whichever market of yours has the most robust produce section, and it’s typically near the fresh herbs.

Next week, we’ll have a holiday-ish menu for you, not quite as big as Thanksgiving, but a few new ideas for your table. Hope you are enjoying the sparkle of this month!
