Week 69

Helllloooo!!!!!! I hope everyone is hanging in there. It is our kids’ last day of school today, so I’ve been using my work hours wisely until they’re on break for a few weeks. That said, I will start Christmas shopping tomorrow, the 20th, which is a whole lot further out than when I said I was going to do everything on Black Friday. Whoops.

This menu has a couple options for group dinners, as I have a feeling you may find yourself amongst family and friends this next week. We’re doing a nacho bar with homemade cheese sauce. For our omnivorous friends, there is a recipe for a shreddy beer-braised pork, that is largely hands off time so you can hustle and wrap and drink while it’s cooking. Veg friends, there are always beans :) And the Bitchin Sauce! Likely one of my favorite sauces ever from this entire year. Don’t skip it! The lasagna is a bit of a project, but it is in fact the holidays so go for it. I’ll share some IG videos of the assembly so you have a visual. I am making the sweet rolls for Christmas morning so I am also happy to demo those if it’s helpful? Read over the recipes you’re interested in and let me know how I can help! I love doing this with you all and I know it’s nice to have a video along with allllllll these words to help in the kitchen. Ok, last tip, grocery shop first thing in the morning or post dinner hours if you don’t want to be part of complete mahem.
